Bridge Across Forever: introspection

For each person on earth, the definition of ‘love’ is different.

Is it that we can love only one person on earth from our true heart? I mean, as a partner/ companion/ friend?

My personal experience in life makes my vision clouded. I might say, I am not sure whether you can ONLY love one person on earth.

Is it that the element for finding the ‘soul’ partner doesn’t exist in me?

In books, movies & experiences shared by many, I felt that there still exists a concept of soul-mate. However, I am not sure whether it really exists in the world where we breathe, drink & live.

Just think for a moment - how can another person know about things which you were thinking and react about it without you telling them anything? Is it like a sheer coincidence or Is it from a deeper understanding? How long will that channel of thought exchange going to exist?

Why should we think about another person on earth and get concerned about it?
Why should we long for meeting another person?
Why should we feel happy when we are in touch with them ?

The most interesting part is this – all the above said things can happen to be one sided. I mean, you might feel someone special, you might feel seeing that person, and the other person might have no such feelings towards us!!

In life, everything matters - the things that most matters are the moments which connect the string of life.

Is there a bridge which is across forever? Richard Bach (author of book - Bridge across forever, an autobiography) found one and later he became a divorcee?

From Sivanasamdram_Talakkavery_trip_1nov2009

Isn’t love all about sharing the moments with a person who understands your standpoint, where both the people can feel excited about the relationship and where you grow in love instead of falling in love? :-)

On a serious note, may be the idea of love is required to exist in this world to keep everyone feel better even though they might not have it.

The idea of love is required to keep the hopes high and wait for a better tomorrow
The idea of love keeps people look forward in life
The idea of love keeps people crazy behind things which they would never have done with their senses on.
The idea of love paves a way to self discovery
The idea of love keeps people dream!

I am a dreamer and so I dream.. not about love but about the ‘idea of love’

Connections in Life

We meet different people in life and with few we connect. We won’t have any specific reason why we like them or why we feel like spending time with them..

For some reason or rather for reasons not known to us, we feel like happy..

In life, it is always nice to have such people around you, whom you like to be with, who will keep you smiling - And who can be smiling when they are with you.

In due course of our life, we seem to miss them somewhere. The life takes us through the path which we have never taken.

There are times when we just need to believe that ‘what ever happened is for good’.

From Sivanasamudra_Talakkavery_1Nov2009

For no reason you need to trust and go ahead. As I mentioned in another blog(As Steeve Jobs said ), the dots can only be connected backwards. – Only when you look back and connect the dot, you will know what picture is there waiting for you.

We won’t have a reason why things happen sometime– However we might need to feel contented within our self and tell our self that these things are happening to us for some reason.

Whether there is a reason for everything is not known to me.

I know one thing, it is nice to get back things which you missed.

It is nice to hear from people who came close to you – no matter how long it takes.

It is always nice to feel the closeness – Doesn’t matter whether the other person is close to you or not.

It is what you feel within you that matters.

I felt nice today
I got in touch with someone
Someone who was close to me
Who vanished
And who appeared.

The idea of that person makes me smile
I tried to sleep ..
I couldn’t sleep
And so I am awake in the mid night - typing all these..

It is like I need to write ..
It is like I need to document
It is like I need to share ..
It is like I can sleep calmly once it is written..
It is like I can be back to normal once I write it down and once it is out aloud in the world..
It is like I don’t need a reciprocation..
It is just me.

PS: I dedicate this post to you for making me smile today! ! & Asante! (thank you in tanzania)

I owe you for the smile. :-)

These are my pure thoughts, readers (if any) are free to interpret it in their own way and decide whether it makes sense to them or not.

From the House of Peace

Thus I set foot on Africa.... landed Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) today afternoon.. The climate is like hot- itz around 30deg in the day time. the buildings are like indian buildings.. most of them pretty old..

The travelogue

1. 1:30 AM start from the hotel @ Riyadh - Got into flight to Doha (Qatar) - Just 1 hour flight .. almost none except some cute looking airhostess's in Qatar Airways :-)
2. From Doha the next flight to Tanzania was around 7:30 Am local time .. and 5 hours :45 mins flight.. Almost very packed.. And they offered drinks.. restricted myself to Red wine.. :-)

Landed the Dar Es salaam airport around 1:30 Pm local time. - 50$ they charge for on arrival visa for Indians .. the visa stamping que was not that crowded..

--An interesting experience--
Once you reach security check in they open the bags .. put hand into the things and checks everything ..

When i reached the security counter, I gave my hand bag.. so the security guy checked the bag, found the book- 'high performance enterpreneur' by subrato bagchi .. . and i dont know why, he was so happy and he started showing that book to the other security guys .. and i told him this book is a good book.. - he shook his head happily.. then when I was about to put my main luggage for checking.. He asked what is there in the bag? is it the clothes? I told yea.. Then he told .. Oh you read enterpreneur books.. so I am trusting you and I am not checking the can leave.. I was like wow!! :-)

It is not safe to go out in the night .. almost none in the road except the localites (they are similar to the ones that we see in tv) .. and the local shops are similar to the shops that we have in villages.. i mean really small..

But dont get surpised by the rates here .. i took a cab just to go out to purchase a power adapter and it costed me 10,000 Tanzanian shillings.. :-) .. here they talk only in 1000's... :-) .. 1.00 USD = 1,349.50 TZS...

For a packet of juice you pay 2,500 TZS.. and so forth.. :-)

Just asked the waiter how to say bye bye in tanzania.. he says 'coheri' so I say the same to you...coheri...:-)

An Airport Breeze

When I was landing Muscat Airport (about a few hours before), I could see the rocks and hills and the islands of Oman. The view of dark mountains, blue ocean, the parcel of land and sea touched me.

@ Airport
- The long broad view of runway
- Few noisy kids
- the airplanes which are getting ready to move to different cities around the globe
- the silent couple sipping coffee @ Costa Coffee ( like they are talking to each other with eyes)
- Few are alone awaiting their flight to move on towards their destiny

I am all surrounded by some special air which whispers to me to write and to continue writing..

Take a deep breath
Feel the sweetness of oxygen
Close your eyes
Taste the air
Fill your heart
Isn’t this moment worth living for?
Isn’t this life all about moments?
One more dot to complete the circle.

The world is so immense and one life time is not enough to have a grasp of it!

Ma' as-salaama Muscat!! - You have given me a zephyr.
This has changed .. I feel it here.......
