Falling Down

I was up in the highest floor
I walked up to the roof top
I started walking

Then I jumped, I ran in the parapet

I was wild
I wanted the risk
I wanted to show off
I needed proof
That I can do anything
I wanted to be limitless
Then came those moments
I felt the flow of air
I realized I was falling down
The air froze for moment
My heart stopped
I couldn’t breath
I felt the light pain
Everything happened in a fraction of moment
I saw myself down in the ground
I felt nothing
I never moved
Was I born for this?

In Desert

My mind is wandering
Desert is all I see around
I long for water
I searched for oasis

The camels walk past me
I see no roads
My compass is not working

I don’t know where I am
Which world am I now?
I need my world back
For I am lost

I yearned
I shouted
Silence was the response

I see none around
For I am alone

My vision is fading
Coldness is crawling
Numbness is sneaking
I feel it but none knows

I see the Sun going down
I am waiting for the moon
I wish I could get back
Back in my old track

For I need to be myself again

Nothing to talk about

It can happen at any time. It may be due to our mood swings. It can be when we meet a stranger who has no interest on us or it can be when we are with our loved ones.

‘I have nothing to talk about' and it is going to offend the other person for sure. Well, you know it, you would have felt the pain many times when you were eager to talk and other person just ignored without even giving you a chance to talk.

We might maintain silence without even thinking about the other person’s state of mind. And we keep silent  because we feel that the other person might not understand us and we think that it might be better not to share or discuss.

Whatever might be the reason, small statements like ‘I have nothing to speak about’, ‘ let us talk later’, ‘let us leave it now’, etc keeps the other person confused and upset - assuming they are sensitive beings :-)

Most of us need to learn how to respect other person’s freedom. It is so true that we all want to be a part of other person's life and because of it we will feel the ‘want’ or ‘right’ to know what is happening in their life.
When we see them moody, we will start asking questions and when they won’t open up we will start a fight or argument.

'I feel you are away from me',  ' Why don't you tell me what is going on?', ' I feel you are keeping secrets', the list is endless.

Each argument or questions leave us with more discomfort. Rarely it might also happen that we will feel bad about the other person being upset because of our silence and we end up sharing what is troubling us.

In real life though it is not easy to keep a distance and yet be close, but might be worth a try.

Don't you think so?

My Little Sunshine

My little girl played outside in the ground
I saw her from distance
I could see her cute little face
She giggled, she ran
She made the noise
She spread the spirits.
She had a magic

Magic which worked on everyone
Her pranks made them laugh
She had her pretty looks
At times she acted shy and silly

Few teased her
Few praised her
Few pitied her
For she had none
She is so little to realize it, I thought

I want to buy her clothes
I want to see her happy
I can’t resist but walk towards her
To take her in my arms
To keep her close to my heart

I wish I could go near her
And hold her small little hands
And take her in my arms

Then she saw  me
And she came running towards me

She held my fingers and pulled my hands
And she wanted me to run with her
I told her ' I am tired, I cant run'

'What is there in your hands?' , She asked
'Nothing', I said, hiding it away
For she caught me and took it
'Ice cream is tasty'
I could see her eyes glow
The ice cream was all over her cheeks and chin
For she was immersed in ice cream!
The ice cream got over soon

'Can you give me your pen?'
She made me bent down on my knees
So she could reach my pocket
She just wanted the pen
She took it and started playing with it

I sat idle, watching her expressions
For she ran away from me

After a while she came running towards me

And embraced me
As if she forgot and then remembered me
She kissed me on my cheeks
And then gave me her sweet smile

I wish, I could melt away that moment
I wish, I could pass out
The moment when I saw her happy
Being with me!

Change

Guy: ‘I am feeling for you’
Gal: ‘Well try controlling your thoughts; you know reality and illusions are different’

Guy: ‘Yes I know but still. I am unable to manage my thoughts’
Gal: ‘You need to concentrate on your work and you need to keep your feeling for me aside’
Guy: ‘Should be keeping it aside?’
Gal: ‘Till you finish your work your feelings needs to be aside’
Guy: ‘I should take off and get away from the way I interacted with you? I feel was very childish?’
Gal: ’bygones are bygones.. You are not only childish but endearingly childish. So stop all this stupidity and complete the work’

Guy said to himself, ‘was that all stupid? Was I that stupid?’

Guy:  ‘Can I talk to you?’
Gal: ‘My voice is seductive and so I don’t want you to talk to me’
Guy: ‘Should keep the feelings for you aside? I am thinking should I even have feelings for you?’
Gal: ‘Please keep things aside and start working. I am really busy I have lots of things to do’
Guy:’ Oh sorry to hold you back, you may leave’
Gal: ‘Try to finish your work. Once your work is done I will try to answer your question’

how fast time passed? Present became bygone so quick? Initially it was like wild fire but now? A heavy rain came along the way and cooled it down all of a sudden? Change is inevitable!‘, he murmured to himself.

A Kid's idea of farming

One day a kid in the village decided to plant a tree. After roaming around the place near his house he found a tapioca stem. He decided that he will plant the tapioca and start his first step towards farming. He ploughed a small field and put the fertilizers and planted one tapioca stem. Every day he watered it well.

After few days one day morning, his mother saw him taking out the tapioca stem and looking at its roots and planting it back again. She asked 'Why did you take the stem out ?'.

The kid answered, ‘I don’t see any roots you know? Every day I pull out the stem to see the roots, but what to do I feel this farming is no good!

PS:Recently I got an email from Serbia (a subscriber of my blog) suggesting me to write about humor for a change. So this is my first trail on writing joke! A real true story! :-) . Now come on.. give a smile at least.. :-) And thank you .. thanks for your email 'hello...Serbia Calling'

Russian Lady

I came to Bahrain for the weekend for enjoying or rather partying for the New Year (in a way belated new year). Incidentally, I met a Russian lady in here. Her name, oh sorry, I don’t remember. But I clearly remember her story.

When she told me her story I saw tears on her eyes in real. Believe me or not, this is a true story where I am just blindly writing it without editing or modifying.

Her real name, as I told you, I don’t remember but she said her Bahrain name is ‘Kareena’. May be she opted a name which everyone can pronounce?

She is from a city by the name of ‘vladikavkaz’ in Russia. She has been to many countries before she reached here in Bahrain. There is a long list of countries which includes Sri Lanka, Dubai, Turkey, etc.

She got married at the age of 17, when she was even unaware of what she wants or what she was. She was asked by her mother to marry the guy who was chosen from the family. Her husband  married her only because his father asked him to do so.

She was left alone in solitude even after her marriage; when her husband used to go and meet his girlfriend. When she asked him for a reason why he was meeting his girlfriend, he gave her a reason that his father wanted him to marry her for the sake of marriage and so he married her. Now, since he has done his duty of marrying the lady picked by his family, he had every right to meet any girl he wanted to and he wanted to be with his girlfriend for his happiness.

She asked me a question – ‘How can you sleep with a girl when you love someone else?’ Trust me; I don’t have an answer to this question.

She informed me that she is a divorcee now and she is looking for a husband. She is a normal human having dreams of having kids, having a family & a husband. Still, she says among the men she has seen for the last couple of years, it is really hard to find one person who is trustable.

There were incidents where the guy changed his religion to marry her. But she needed time; time to think and decide whether he was the right guy. Unfortunately, the guy never gave her time. He kept on calling every day to check her status. She said she felt irritated. More than irritation, she wanted to be extra sure of one more marriage, about being with another person. But, the guy was not patient enough to give her enough time to think. And finally, he got married to a different lady!

She is still in search of a person who respects her for what she is – not because of her beauty, not because of her voice, not because of her looks, but because of what she is. Someone who will respect her, someone who will appreciate her for her purity in heart, purity in her soul!

It is so rare to find such a soul, though we have millions & trillions of human across the world.

From the bottom of my heart I wish her a happy life
May she get married to the right soul
Who will value her for what she is
Than her beauty, than her body
Though she is beautiful
Though her eyes carry the essence of life
May be she met many men
May be she has known many souls
Yet, she is searching
Searching for her soul mate
I wish her as a human;
May her soul get what she needs & what she dreams
May she be the happiest person on earth
Who will spread the happiness around?
Who will give things away?
For the ones who are close
Close to her heart
May this world still prevail!
Where the heart wins over the body
Where the soul brings in peace over the emotions!

She sneaks on me

She pays me visit
But in silence
I can hear her foot steps

Though I can’t see her

Her face was veiled

And I know she is good at it

I am myself
But she changed

For reasons known only to her

I went to bed and tried to sleep
And then she came at mid night

Shouldn’t she be with him?
Shouldn’t she be sleeping?

Why is she here?

She never wanted to wake me up
She preferred things to be under her control

I could sense her
Air of her aura woke me up

She was here for sure

Does she know I know this?
Does she know I can feel her?

Why is she silent?

Only she knows the answer
And there should be a reason!

She might be protecting
Or she might be pretending

I know she was here
And she need to know, I know it!
Though she tried sneaking!
